GILAD HAREL, CLARINET
Gilad is an avid chamber music player, new music promoter and an active klezmer/world/pop music performer and soloist in Israel and worldwide.
He has appeared with the Geneva Camerata, the Torino Philharmonic Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Manhattan Sinfonieta, and plays regularly with Ute Lemper.
He created “l’Histoire Du Klezmer” for ensemble and electronics, performed in Taiwan, and played at the Krakow Festival for Jewish Culture with the Sexteto Roberto Rodriguez.
He collaborates frequently with renowned artists such as pianist and conductor David Greilsammer, mandolinist Avi Avital, clarinetist Chen Halevi and with composers such as Elliott Carter, Salvatore Sciarrino, John Zorn, Tristan Murail, Philippe Leroux, and many more.
