Orit Orbach has appeared as soloist with many orchestras all over the world including the Israel Philharmonic with Zubin Mehta, the Jerusalem Symphony, The Israel Chamber Orchestra, The San Francisco Sinfonietta, The Sofia Philharmonic, The Colorado Symphony, the Hagen Symphony and The Warsaw Philharmonic.

Orit was the principal Clarinetist of the Jerusalem Symphony, the Israel Symphony, the Haifa Symphony and the Israel Kamerata, Jerusalem.

Orit has premiered quite a few new pieces, including the Penderecki Clarinet Concerto, Robert Starer "Kli Zemer" Concerto, Harlap Clarinet Concerto and others.

Among her CDs are the Starer Concerto, Hajdu "Jewish Rhapsody", both pieces for Clarinet, Bass Clarinet and Orchestra, and the Aharon Harlap Concerto, composed especially for her.

Ms. Orbach has participated in various music festivals. Among them are the Marlboro Festival, USA, Tanglewood Festival, USA, Neustadt festival, Germany, Music by the Red Sea, Israel, the Canberra International Chamber Festival, Australia and others. She performed with musicians such as Shlomo Mintz, Daniel Barenboim, Yuri Bashmet, Raphael Wallfisch, David Soyer, Michael Tree, and Marie Peraiah.

Orit also specializes in Jewish music and has performed with several Klezmer groups as the Maxwell Klezmer band, Chicago and the Klarisma Ensemble, Israel.  For the past 15 years Orit is the soloist with the well-known band: "The Eve's Women Band", most highly appreciated women ensemble, which performs Jewish music combined with new styles as Jazz, Rock, Middle Eastern, Balkan with a strong exotic feminine touch. The ensemble performs successfully all over the world.

Orit has been teaching Clarinet for many years as a private teacher and  in the Tel Aviv Conservatory ,the Raanana Conservatory, the "Hed" Music institution, the Hezelia Conservatory, the Kfar Saba Conservatory and the Ramat Hasharon Conservatory. She was head of the Music department and teaches Chamber Music in the Kalay High School and for the past 5 years the head of the music department of the "Dror" High school and teaches Clarinet at the Levinsky College.

Orit Is, for the past three years, conducting youth wind orchestra in Pardesia, Israel.

  Orit gives unique Master Classes all over the world which include Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Klezmer music and Performance anxiety. Among others Orit gave master classes at the San Francisco Conservatory, Houston University, Melbourne University, Canberra University and Sidney University, Australia, Marburg Festival, Germany, Weizman Institute, Israel, Music by the Red sea Festival, Israel and the Tel Aviv Academy.

Ms. Orbach is an appreciated judge in international competitions, including the Penderecki International Contemporary Competition in Krakow, Poland, the Virgin Island chamber competition, USA, the Spring International competition, Israel, The America- Israel Competitions, Israel and others.

Ms. Orbach has graduated with honors at the New England Conservator, Boston- BM, and at the North-Western University, Chicago- MM.   Among her teachers are Harold Wright, Robert Marcellus and Richard Lesser.
